ok so my bf (of almost three years) is starting a new job in the city next week. he jus did his two weeks at the previous job and now is off this week. we planned a sleepover and day together for this week bc he’s off and im off from my graduate school. basically, he’s been gaming nonstop. and i’ve always supported that. I think it’s great he has a hobby. but this whole week he’s been putting me aside to play games. tonight was the night he was supposed to come over, I tried to contact him twice to see what the status was on that, he never answered bc he was gaming… finally late into the day he answers and says he forgot and is cooking with his dad today so he can’t come over. yea I know that actually means he has a video game tournament he wants to do instead, im not dumb. I canceled all my plans for tm to spend the day with him, he could have told me earlier. this isnt the first time he’s done this. on my bday, he told me he’d stop by to see me and he never did. I didn’t make a fuss out of it but he’s always saying these things and never carrying out the plans. I understand it’s his off week and he’s just being a bum but I thought id be on the list for him to spend time with this week. once he works in the city, he’ll barely have time for me during the week so I just thought this would be a nice thing to do together. I want to hear your opinions about this. thank you.
