Only contamination like the other comment says. You really have to clean surfaces and scrub your nails. Maybe retry it at home or with your doctor for more accuracy

Sounds like it could be contamination for sure! I know what you mean. Luckily I only have one son and I got his dad to hold onto him when I did one last pregnancy. Good luck!

Yeah my 3 year old walked in on me doing the blood sample. He got really close, and also I didn’t scrub my finger nails just thoroughly washed my hands. Ah so many factors all the boys were also in the house and I could t go anywhere it’s not like I can abandon my kids while I take the test lol lol anyway i think it’s possibly wrong! We shall see at my 20 week scan. Seems so So far away! Lol

If it’s done at home there is a chance because of male contamination but if done in a clinic then no it’s 99.99 %accurate 😬

Yes it can, sometimes your placent develops and starts working as late as 10 weeks and you only get baby dna in you blood once the placenta starts filtering and you start exchanging blood with the baby. For boys it’s less likely to be wrong for girls more likely.

See I’ve heard the total opposite. If it’s boy it’s most likely to be wrong if it says girl it’s pretty sure to be right. Thanks for responding!

I’d its saying boy, it’s most likely correct women don’t have male Y chromosomes unless you had a human error occur.
