Is your two year old forward facing in their car seats? I understand the risks of having them forward facing, and I understand the recommendation to keep them rear facing as long as possible. I am also aware of the state laws where I live regarding forward facing and rear facing in regards to age, height, and weight. I’m just curious how many of our two year olds are forward facing? My guy is pretty tall and his legs hang off the sides when he is rear facing, which makes me worried if we ever get hit that it will dislocate his hips. I am starting to consider flipping the car seat so that he is forward facing so that his legs can hang appropriately. If your child is forward facing when did you make the switch and why?
