Light period… Please help!

To start off I am not on birth control. So the last previous periods I’ve had have all been the normal 7 days and not crazy heavy but not light either. However, I started my period this month and it’s been weird. I spotted the day before but it was almost like implantation and no cramps or other signs of my period and then it hit me the following day, so day 1 and 2 were completely normal, clotting a little heavier but didn’t think anything of it. Well day 3 I didn’t have any active bleeding, only light blood when wiping after using the restroom, no bleeding at all through the night, I woke up this morning to a clean pad and still only see blood when wiping. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I’m afraid to take a pregnancy test and really don’t think there is reason too as there was clotting like a normal period. Please help
