Toilet Etiquette?
When do you stop wiping your kid/s?
Of course once they start potty training they still need help to clean themselves, but at what age did you stop and just try and enforce that they do it themselves? Do you think there’s an appropriate time/age to stop?
I just ask because my daughter is going to be 6 soon and Idk if that’s a good age to maybe tell her to let people know that she’s capable of doing it herself? I’ve stopped about 4 1/2-5 because she’s getting older and figure she can do it herself and she’s shown me she can but just try and make sure she does it well and good. Im probably just overthinking but I’m very protective when it comes to her and I don’t want anyone taking advantage of touching her or things like that.
As far as I’m concerned I think her grandma (paternal) still wipes her and I feel like she should not anymore but again I could just be overthinking. Let me know your thoughts
