Measuring smaller than we thought?

My head is spinning.. my last period was july4th. August 5th I got a positive test. The 10th I went into the drs and my pregnancy was confirmed. Today I had my ultrasound thinking I was going to be 8weeks&5days..

the ultrasound tech said I was super early and measuring around 6 weeks.. she said she was able to get a “fetal pole” but she couldn’t keep it cause of the slightest moment…

Has this happened to anyone else?

Idk I want to have hope but the dates are off?

Since it’s a holiday I’m not able to get the results back probably till tomorrow and it’s killing me… ☹️☹️
