how early to test?

just wondering how early to test? I’ve seen a lot of people post positive results before their missed period. My period is due in 7 days and I’m dying to know 🥺 I’ve had some mild cramping come and go the last few days but no sign of my period.

If you are tracking and confirming ovulation you can test as early as 10 dpo and can get a positive but if you aren't then it's best to wait until at least the day af is supposed to show.

With both of my babies, I never got a positive before 11 dpo (3 days before period is due) so personally, I wouldn't test earlier than that. I've heard some test can detect 6 days before your missed period, but the closer to your period you test, the more accurate and less squinting and obsessing over whether you see a faint line or not. Just my advice.

My advice is always to wait as long as you possibly can. 16 dpo is great time to test
