Are my kids missing out if we stop at 2?
I have two wonderful kids, 3 yo and 6 months, a boy and a girl. We struggled with infertility and loss so we are over the moon to have these babies. The thing is, before trying to have kids we had always planned to have 3, but after our journey and knowing the reality of having kids we are contemplating stopping at 2. I know many of the benefits of stopping at 2 (financial, more adult time, more time for each kid) but I want to think carefully about whether my kids will miss out on having a 2nd sibling. Are we depriving them of the joy of having two siblings to play with instead of one? What do you think?
Thank you!
