Has anyone had a version ?? Went in for 36 weeks and baby is transverse

Has anyone had this where the flip the baby?? This is my 3rd and have never experienced this before. I know that flipping them comes with risks and I have had 2 vaginal but said I’d we don’t flip him we can do a c section. But Dr thinks the version will be successful and that I may have a vaginal birth again. Idk what to do or think?? Any advice will be helpful

I have not, but I would look up Spinning Babies and try that first. Baby still has time to move!

I had a successful version last year for my daughter. She was frank breech with her bottom so engaged in my pelvis that my OB kept thinking she was head down lol. At 37 weeks my OB flipped her. We had monitors on me and baby girl the whole time to ensure that we were both okay. The process took about 12 minutes. It was painful but it was very uncomfortable. I remember I distracted myself my counting the ceiling tiles in the room lol. I had pregnancy induced hypertension, so I was induced that day. We had scheduled a c section in case the version wasn't successful, but we really lucked out!

My boy is completely breeched and my OB suggested either an ECV or scheduling a c-section.the spinning babies website has some interesting tips but they don’t work for everyone.  My doctor was not confident about the ECV working for me but if your doctor is confident, do your own research and see if it’s worth it. It has about a 50% success rate if done after 37 and before 39 weeks.

My first baby was transverse (sideways) and we considered a version but he did move headdown at 37 weeks.
