Abdominal ultrasound-6 weeks

So I work at the hospital and just had them do an ultrasound on me and she said she sees the sac and yolk sac but not sure about the fetal pole. She said it’s probably just bc it wasn’t a transvaginal. Is it normal to not see a fetal pole at 6 weeks on a regular abdominal ultrasound?
