12 week ultrasound?

Do you usually get an ultrasound at the end of your first trimester? I already had one at my first appointment when I was 7 weeks, but I was wondering if I’ll also get one when I go next week? Just to make sure baby is growing okay?

Normal, healthy pregnancies will only get 2 US in the United States unless you pay to do them privately. So normally the first happens around 8wks and the second will happen at 20wks for the anatomy/anomaly scan

I think I had one to confirm pregnancy, at 10 weeks, at 15 weeks, at 20 weeks then at 32 weeks then 35 weeks.

Dating, NT scan, and growth scan. 
You may get the NT scan at 12w.

I only had 2 with my first. I had extras with my 2nd because I was in a car accident and I'm having them regularly with my 3rd because I'm high risk. Fewer is better.

Well if you're getting the NIPT test you will be getting an ultrasound most definitely but if not some OB offices don't do another ultrasound until it's time for anatomy scan. Some do around the 12 week but it's just up to the doctor. You'll just need to ask your OB how often they order ultrasound during pregnancy.

My dr only does one in the beginning (7-9 weeks) and then another one for the anatomy (around 20 weeks) & that’s it.
