Transition to toddler bed?

When are you guys planning to switch to a toddler bed for your LO’s? My son keeps climbing out of his crib so I’m thinking about it but don’t know if he’s “too little”. I’m not sure what age your “supposed” to switch them? Any thoughts?!

Our daycare starts transitioning from a crib to a cot at 16 months so we will be following suit at home to keep it consistent. So within the next month he will have his toddler bed and free range of his room 🤪🙈

I’ve been thinking about a toddler bed as well. My son is 16 almost 17 months and I’m pregnant with twins so I wanted him to be potty trained and in a toddler bed before they’re born. I’m not sure if either one of those are going to work out🥴🤣

Haha my son is 3 and still locked in his crib - sleep sacks keep them from climbing
