How to have self love for my relationship?
Hi ladies,
I’m currently in a relationship with the most amazing guy ever and I love him so much. He always gives me compliments and tells me how beautiful I am. When I’m feeling down he’s always happy to talk with me about it but I always worry that I’m burdening him and he’s just too polite to say so. He’s said a number of times that he’s never felt like I weigh him down or anything, but I feel like I worry about this way too much. I guess part of me doesn’t think I’m worth helping or loving, but I really want to change that. I think I’m a decent person and I feel bad that he often ends up trying to pick up my self esteem. He’s patient with me but I feel like I really need to work on my self love, or else my lack of it could eventually be too much of a problem for him in our relationship. Do you have any tips on learning to love yourself, your body, etc. or at least improve self respect? I really want to grow, for him and for me so I can be a better partner and individual.
Thank you in advance!
