Did you get discharge on your period?

This might sound dumb I’m just unsure. Do you get regular discharge on the day of your period? I was expecting my period yesterday and only got regular discharge, no blood / bloody discharge. Or could these possibly be a pregnancy? Normally on days when my period is due, I just get blood or bloody discharge.

I tested yesterday but it was negative but it was diluted.
