When does BBT rise after ovulation?

I’m new to charting. I know temps rise due to progesterone, but which day after ovulation?

Answer

It rises right after, you need 3 high temps higher than your previous six. Meaning if pre-ovulation temps are all under 98, then you have 98.31, 98.19, 98.68 that’s totally fine because even though it dipped, they were still higher than the previous 6. Rises and dips are normal after that so outside of confirming ovulation and allowing you to see your trends from cycle to cycle, there’s not much else to it. If temp stays higher for 18 days, you are likely pregnant. I’ll attach my chart here as an example
