Baby’s first trip , advice?

my daughter will be 11 months when we’ll be going on a vacation for the first time. We’ll be on the road for 7 hours on the way and staying for a  week. Any advice to keep baby entertained on the road? How much clothes to pack? Not so obvious things you took that you found helpful when vacationing with your little ones? Any and all advice is appreciated!

I’m sure it will be better than you think! At least for us it was, I was so anxious and scared lol but it was great! Make sure you take plenty of clothes, a couple of outfits but plenty of onesies that’s what I did. At front with us I had the diaper bag with diapers,onesies,bibs,wipes,Tylenol, teething cream, thermometer, rash cream, pouches,snacks,water, I’ve always kept our bottles filled with water and just add the formula for easier,quicker, we also had a tote bag with toys,etc. We also had a cooler because I took my baby’s medicine that requires to be cooled so I took her teether as well 😁Bring her favorite toys and I got my baby two new ones which she was Amazed and play with most of the time. We took a pack and play with mattress since at home she sleeps in her crib and wanted her as comfortable as possible, and the portable white noise machine since she can’t sleep without it, we also took her portable swing and stroller I know I probably did too much but at the end of the day it fit in the truck so I took advantage 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s always better to take more than what you think you’ll need!

Plan to stop around every 2 hours.
Bring LOTS of snacks. No rules or specific times. Give them French fries, yogurt melts, pouches, whatever and don’t stress about nutrition. 
Have water and milk (formula, boobies, or pumped milk) ready. 
Check the diaper at every stop. Let babe get out at every stop (unless clonked out). 
Keep a selection of toys (aim for soft car safe toys) in a bag with you. Hand them out slowly over the trip to keep it fresh. 
Listen to music (Disney hits on Spotify is always great). 
We had the diaper caddy in the car filled with diapers, wipes, diaper cream, boogie wipes, sunglasses, teething oil, childrens Tylenol, and things like that. It was nice for quick access for the car side diaper changes and ensured the diaper bag stayed stocked.
We just did a 24hr road-trip to move to a new state so I have no advice on what to pack for a week. I will say pack more clothes for them than you think.

For a week we packed 2 outfits per day and 4 PJs- and some cute onesies just in case! We stopped every 1.5-2 hours as he cried so much. If you can, sit in the back with him
