no ovulation?

i have been tracking my ovulation for a few months and every cycle i get a positive opk on day 16. im now on day 18 this cycle which is my first cycle of ttc also and i havent had a positive opk yet. would this be due to stress? my partner is now away for a month so im really praying i have done enough to give me a fair chance as we bd 4 times including once yesterday but now im no longer feeling positive 😢 does anyone know why this is? am i stressing myself too much about this and this is why i havent had a positive? or would a posituve show up if you have had successful implantation?

Ovulation isn’t always the same time each cycle. If you want more accuracy you need to add bbt to confirm ovulation and you will know when you ovulated, dpo, luteal phase length (is from the day after ovulation to period which stays the same each cycle give or take 1-2 days. Average length is 12-14 days give or take 1-2 days.) when period is coming by temp drop or if you miss your period and your temp stays up then there is a chance for pregnancy

Stress can definitely impact ovulation. I normally have 26-27 day cycles, but I remember having one be 35 days long because I was so stressed. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress. Find something to do unrelated to ttc to pre-occupy your mind. I like to read fiction books and crochet so that's what I like to do. And going on walks around the neighborhood is nice.
