Bloated

I've been on the depo shot for 3 years, and I clearly remember that after 6 months of being on the shot I became extremely bloated. Also I don't get my period monthly like normal women do. I used to get my period monthly and it would last 3 days. Before getting the depo my doctor told me it's normal for my period to go MIA while being on the depo shot. Though the bloating.. What's going on? I'm extremely bloated. Almost looks like I'm pregnant but I'm not! Anyone? Help lol
