Jeans for wide hips? Send help

So I had my daughter in February of this year via emergency c section. I was a size 6/8 before pregnancy. Now, I have no clue what size I am. And I have a c section pouch that is partially scar tissue. Plus, during pregnancy my hips widened noticeably and so did my butt and now NOTHING fits. No jeans I've tried work. My butt isn't huge or anything but my hips are very wide and every size of jeans I try fit well on my legs right until it gets to the top of my thighs and then I can't get them up further. If I size up a few sizes, they are super baggy in the legs but fit my hips.. so either way I look dumb. I'm currently dieting and exercising but not shedding ANY weight (thanks breastfeeding 🙄), so it'll be a while before I'm thin again sadly.. I do 30 mins of zumba daily, walk 30 mins weather permitting and I only drink water and 1 cup coffee w sugar free creamer. No snacking after dinner, etc...Scale won't move.

All that to say, I'd like a pair of jeans that fit. Does anyone have recommendations for a brand that might be good for wider hips/bottom with slimmer legs? Or am I just banished to leggings and sweatpants until I can finally shed this fat??
