Is it selfish to bring babies to term who won’t live?
I came across some comments on Reddit under a video of a man who takes care of abandoned terminally ill babies/kids in the US. They(mostly peds nurses/healthcare workers who experience it first hand)were basically saying that people who bring babies with fatal anomalies to term and birth them just so they can slowly and painfully die are disgusting and it should be illegal. Yet these people are often seen as “heroes” while their babies die in pain just because they couldn’t make a hard decision or to feed their own ego. Thoughts? And I’m not talking about “there’s a chance they’ll live” type of babies. I’m talking about ones who are born without vital organs and chromosomal anomalies that ensure death fairly soon after birth.
