How many of our September toddlers are dressing themselves ? Or putting shoes on themselves? I’m just wondering because I’ve seen a few post about by age 3 they should be dressing themselves and we haven’t even attempted he doing it himself. Never really even thought of it as a milestone to reach at this age .

Omg first thing every morning wakes me up at like 6AM fully dressed + shoes socks even HER PURSE 😆🤦‍♀️ Lil diva 💅

Shoes yes if they are slip on or velcro. Undressing yes. Getting dressed.. kind of? He'll pull up pants and shorts and will put on zip up sweaters or jackets, but shirts that need to go over his head he still needs me to put it over and then he'll put his arms through.

He's not potty trained or dressing himself. His dad's been gently working on both, but we're not rushing.

My girl dresses herself if I let her but will take quite some time. The hardest part is passing her head through, that’s what she needs help with most of the time. I usually dress her up in the morning bc of time but she puts on her pjs. 
I have never let her try out on socks now that I think about it. 
And shoes yes bc they’re Velcro.

Clearly late on this but I just got back on the app! My guy can do pants, undies, jackets and shoes but needs help getting  shirts and socks on.

Mine has been dressing/undressing herself since before she was two, mastered doing up zips a few months back too....... until recently 🤣 now we get "heeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeee I'm struggliiiiiiiiing!!!!" While she sits on the floor and stares at a sock. Gone from fiercely independent to claiming to be completely incapable 😆

Shoes yes though I have to point out left and right. Clothes not so much. He has trouble figuring out which tshirt hole is for arms or head so I usually put the head thru and he will stick his arms out. Underwear and pants he knows how to pull up though sloppily. 😅

My son can put on trousers, underwear and shoes (depending on style) but much better at taking off.
