This thing is huuuuge! I've never seen anything like this!
I moved from the suburbs to the country. I'm not ready for this 😳

It's a golden orb weaver, also known as garden weavers, and banana spiders. They are good for the environment, and eat all the annoying bugs that destroy gardens. People actually buy these spiders, and release them into their own gardens.

Daughter of a pest control dude here, that would be a banded argiope. I live down in southern Louisiana and I don’t like in the “country” part and I’ve found a could brown and black widows in my house and around the outside lately, so you’re lucky that’s all you have haha. My fiancé just recently got bit by a brown recluse on his leg after sleeping on the floor.
