13 weeks too early for gender on u/s?

We are team green and had the NT scan today. The tech showed us a very clear shot of both femurs and lower abdomen (not sure if it was viewing from above or below if it matters). I saw nothing in between - so smooth lol. Don’t get me wrong, I would be thrilled to have a girl (or a boy); I’m just more worried/upset that the surprise is over for me (I will NEVER tell anyone else, especially my husband).
So what’s the accuracy of seeing the gender at 13 weeks on ultrasound?

Have u considered doing blood test to find out the gender? One of my friends did ultrasound even at 22 weeks and they told her the wrong gender and at birth they were surprised😂

I went to my NT scan at 12, baby was measuring 13 weeks. My doc ,which is a maternal-fetal specialist so she really knows this stuff, couldn't see exactly what we are having. With my son 5 years ago she said 80 %boy and it was right. But now the baby didn't cooperate.  She said at this point in pregnancy the baby only has a nub that looks the same for boys and girls. Only the inclination of that nub may suggest a specific gender.

On my NT scan they announced boy parts because it was obvious, we had already known from dna but sonographer didn’t know when she said it

I think it’s unlikely to know for sure at this point they also showed me a picture and we couldn’t see much. They did it to me with my last two at 20 weeks though and it was flat between the legs they were both girls.

We got ours through blood and then before viewing the results I saw his little parts on ultrasound at 11 wk 6 days. So the surprise was kind of over.  My partner still does not know and isn't sure he wants to. Wish I would have known he didn't want to know so I wouldn't have looked at anything.
