So I honestly want the people who will be around our son the most to get their flu shot. I got mine and so will my boyfriend. He is our son and don't want my baby catching the flu and getting severely. But I do understand he needs to be around to build an immune system but I don't want to risk anything. But my step mom refuses to get it for the fact that 10 years ago she got the shot and swears she got the flu (not medically diagnosed by a doctor). She plans to be around him and help watch him when the time comes...should I give up on the idea or put my foot down. I just want what's best for our baby.
