Staring daughter in kindergarten early, need advice NEW INFO!

Hello everyone, I want to start with this- I have posted about my daughter before and been accused of “bragging” I am absolutely not bragging at all, I am just looking for advice.

My daughter is 2, will be 3 in January. She is extremely intelligent, and the doctor actually tested her for gifteness, and she is gifted.

She started speaking at a young age, knows colors, and can count.

She will be 3 soon, and by this time next year, be 3.5. I want to start her in kindergarten because she is ready. I contacted the school district, and told me she cannot start next year. They suggested a private school, and when I called them, they said possibly at 4, but not 3.5. Basically I would have to wait 2 years for her to start kindergarten when she’s ready now.

I looked at the preschool curriculum, but I feel she will just get bored and she needs more academic stimulation than a preschool can offer her. Also, I think she will be happier socializing with older children more on her level, than kids that she is more advanced than, so the social aspect of preschool wouldn’t even be sufficient for her. She is already above preschool level.

Has anyone been able to successfully start their child in kindergarten at 3.5? If so, what do I do? Should I continue contacting the school district or shop around private schools?
