When does baby move vertical?

I am 35 weeks tomorrow and my baby is still very content chilling sideways with her head over on my right all the time… according to the apps, by now they are supposed to have their head down (or up if they’re breech). Have any of you experienced this delay in baby choosing birthing position, and is it normal?

Are you sure baby isn’t just pushing it’s butt and shoulder sideways? Mine does that and is super head down (I get ultrasounds weekly)

My baby just flipped at 36 weeks. She was transverse and breech back and forth and finally went head down!

My baby was breech at 32 weeks. They were concerned because I have a bicornuate uterus, which may make it difficult for my babies to turn once they’re too big. She flipped vertex for my 34 week appointment, so we were thrilled, but then was back to breech at 36 weeks. At my 37 week appointment she flipped again to vertex and has been that way since. I will be 39 weeks in a couple days, and she’s definitely still head down, as she’s pressing on my cervix. Under normal circumstances, baby usually flips to vertex around 34-36 weeks, but can still flip by 37 weeks, especially with a normally shaped uterus. My OB said I had excess fluid (common in second+ pregnancies, as mine is), which allowed her enough room to keep flipping, despite my abnormally shaped uterus.
