Period late

Hi friends. I would ask ur opinion bout my situation. On august my period was delayed for 10 days n on 11th day I got my period which last for 3 days only. I did test negative. Tis months again my period late fr a week but I got my period for 5 days . I would like to know why my cycle like this. Is there any particular reason for it.
