Why are pregnant test so expensive ?

I never really thought they were unless you’re buying name brand tests that supposedly detect pregnancy 6 days before a period, which I don’t really recommend. You can get them for a buck or two at Walmart or the dollar store, you just have to wait to actually test when your period is due or if you miss it, which makes sense over anything else.

I get the 88 cent purple and white tests from Walmart/dollar store. They’re my favorite, much better than the brand name tests in my opinion. I have also tried the easy@home tests for both ovulation and pregnancy. They’re not as good as the other ones but they’re very cheap, you can get 20 of them for less than $10 on Amazon. If I get a positive on a cheapie I’ll buy one clearblue digital test to be sure.

I usually buy the 89c tests from Walmart they are purple and white. They work great but you have to read them within 10 mins cuz after that they usually show an indent. When I found out I was pregnant with this one I used this and then confirmed with frer.

Tbh anytime I had a positive on an “early detection” test I had a positive on the cheap tests too. you don’t have to buy the expensive name brand ones. They all work just about the same.

I buy the strip tests on amazon. Super cheap.
