With my last baby, three years ago, I developed postpartum preeclampsia shortly after giving birth. It was the worst experience of my life. I'm terrified its going to happen again after this baby. I know preeclampsia is common during pregnancy but postpartum isn't too common. Has anyone ever gone through this and had another baby afterwards with no issues?

I talk to my doctors about it but they just don't seem very worried it will happen again. While my blood pressure has gone back to normal since then and I don't experience any hypertension symptoms with this pregnancy, I'm wondering if I should ask to be put back on medication before delivery. I'm sure they will say no because I have no symptoms right now. I am on baby aspirin at the moment. I think I'm just overthinking it and need reassurance.
