Positive induction stories?

I’m getting induced at 39 weeks if baby boy doesn’t come before then. I know inductions can be a hot topic but I wanted to know if you guys have any positive stories about your past inductions. Im a little nervous but super excited!

I was induced with my first 2 children because they had IUGR. They monitored me closely at the end and induced me right at their due date. I had a great experience with both. This pregnancy they scheduled me to be induced at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia. The morning of my induction i started having contractions. By the time we got to the hospital at 7am I was already 6cm! They started a low dose of Pitocin at 8:30am to keep things moving. I got my epidural at 9:30am and my son was born at 10:43am!

I decided to get induced with my second. Went in super early, started the induction, got my epidural as soon as I was ready, and honestly just hung out until time for baby to come! The ONLY thing that bummed me out was everyone that decided they wanted to hang out with us. My family, my husband's family. I hadn't established clear boundaries so everyone just sat in my room the whole day and it was exhausting. Not happening this time!

Mine was overall positive. I was 38w1d. Went in around noon and started induction around 2pm. Oral cytotec and foley balloon. After that fell out we started pitocin around 2am. It didn’t do much of anything and i was cramping a little bit. My doctor broke my water at 9am. Had my epidural at 10:30am and was dilated to 9.5cm by 3pm. They had me labor down and said no pushing until i felt like i had to poop… that took until 8pm. Lots of repositioning to get baby to turn from sunny side up, but he was finally born at 10:39pm. My doctor did have to use the vacuum at the end, i had nothing left to give and he was starting to show signs of distress. 
I’m being induced again on Monday at 38w1d and hoping for another positive, but faster induction.

Mine was perfectly fine with my first baby. The overall pregnancy was normal. At around 30 something weeks OB felt around my stomach and said I’ll be induced right on my due date at 40 weeks. I lost my mucus plug close to my due date but that was all everything went according to plan. Smooth delivery

We induced at 39+6 with my daughter and everything went well. They did a foley bulb at 8 pm, it fell out around midnight. Started pitocin at 8 am, got an epidural around 10 am, started pushing at 2:45 and had our girl at 3:12. We got to go home 24 hours after. It was a good experience! We’re going to wait for baby to decide to come this pregnancy just to spend a little less time in the hospital.
