How long after getting the Mirena did you stop bleeding?

Question

I’ve had my period for 57 days now, and the Mirena in for 45 days. Usually, my period is only 4-6 days long. 
The doctor said the next step would be progesterone, but last time I took progesterone, I had headaches that could probably be classed as migraines. 
I’ve tried nearly every birth control method that I know of, and this is the only one that doesn’t give me migraine-type headaches.

I’m have it for just 10 days bleeding every day.  I’ve decided to get it removed early.  They say insurance might not pay for it but I don’t care I can’t be bleeding like this.

I bled for like 6 months after I got Mirena and then didn't have a period for 6 months. Then periods came back regularly but very light and no cramps. I've had Mirena for 6 years and about to get it replaced, so it was worth it for me but you have to decide whether it's worth it for you.
