When TTC-ing, do you recommend having sex for the entire fertile window?

OR

Wait and have sex lots once you get your peak/ovulation day?

I haven’t received my peak yet (ignore the ovulation day). I’m so close, I’m expecting either this evening or tomorrow. But I feel like we started having sex too early. Will sperm from Tues-Wed, still be effective if I ovulate in the next few days? I’m finding it hard to judge when to start having sex and when it’s most effective. Is sex 3 days over my peak/ovulation more effective, than 5-6 days of sex leading up to it? Really need some help.
