Hi! I recently got my pap results back and I’m a little confused and concerned. The pap itself says “NEGATIVE FOR INTRAEPITHELIAL LESION OR MALIGNANCY.” But also listed within the results is a HPV Aptima results positive, H/L abnormal, range negative. It then breaks down to HPV 16 as negative, and HPV 18,45 positive, H/L abnormal, range negative. The results seem confusing to me? My past pap and HPV test in 2018 was negative for all. I plan on calling my doctors office tomorrow but until then - does anyone have experience with this? I received a letter that I need to schedule a colposcopy. I’m scared and nervous.
