So my baby is 2 months old. Since her birth we've had very limited visitors - immediate family and closest friends. Reason is the first few weeks were so rough - I wasnt in the frame of mind to have anyone over (just general lack of sleep, recovery from CS, I could barely look after myself let alone entertain guests). Also, since July was peak winter were we are, I was concerned about baby being exposed to many people and wanted to wait until her immunity was up a little.

Some colleages from work are wanting to see baby. What sort of time frame is considered reasonable to wait to have extended family and friends, that doesnt seem rude? And when is it safest (in terms of flu's, colds, whooping cough etc) to have baby exposed to lots of people? Interested to hear if others are having people over at this stage?
