I feel small for 27 weeks?! (1st time mom)

Question

I see so many mamas with their beautifully round bellies and I still get the comments “oh you’re pregnant? You don’t look it!” depending on the clothes I wear 🫤
I can’t wait for our 3rd trimester ultrasound. Feels like I need to see baby again to be reassured that she’s growing well 😮‍💨
Anybody else feeling this way?

I was like half the size I am now with my first. Your body just hasn't stretched much yet and might not get too big. Who knows! I always felt small with my first as well until I swelled up to whale size due to a health issue at 36 weeks. It's okay to be disappointed, but just remember as long as you're growing steadily, everything should be okay! I believe in you. Have a lovely last trimester!

I’m carrying big but I also have gestational diabetes. I get a bit envious when I see smaller bumps. All bumps are beautiful though. Your bump is perfect. ❤️

I swear I think I popped overnight 😂 I get so out of breath now it's unreal.

I'm 27+3 now. I wish I was a little smaller. I feel like my lungs are being squished. I also have GD.

I would say I’m about that size at 27 weeks. I went to a wedding last week wearing a somewhat flowy dress and people who didn’t already know I was pregnant didn’t even notice. I don’t like to call attention to myself so I’m enjoying being small.

I never get big till the last month or so I have 5 on earth and one passed but I never looked big until those last 4 weeks of pregnancy I think you obviously look pregnant though 💕

Some people just carry smaller. I did with my son who was my first and it actually was such a blessing at the end to not be huge. I was able to stay pretty active and baby was perfectly healthy and born at 7.5 pounds at 38 weeks. I'm currently 27 weeks and this is me now, still quite small (I also carry high) and every time I tell someone that I'm due in December no one believes me. 🙄  I just had a growth scan yesterday and baby is measuring perfectly on track. Don't stress about your belly size, it has nothing to do with the health of the baby!

I think you look beautiful in your pregnancy. Everyone carry’s differently, I think just added stress of being a ftm doesn’t help.

I feel the same way! People are always telling me that I look good for this stage of my pregnancy which I appreciate a lot. But then I’m the back of my head I’m always thinking is she growing properly, is she getting everything she needs, am I doing enough as a mom and I get paranoid waiting for my next appt to come around.
