Subaru Forester or Suzuki Vitara?

I’m looking to buy a new car. One that’s bigger than my vw golf, so I can go camping in it and take it a little off road such as on sand etc.

I’ve always loved foresters and when they’re second hand they can be in my price range. But I’m having troubles finding the right one as the price could be too much or too many ks etc.

Because I’m looking for one specific car I feel like I don’t have many options in terms or being worth buying. Someone mentioned the Suzuki vitaras which are more of a 4wd but they just don’t look as big inside.

What’s your opinion? Do you have any other ideas?
