Anyone lose weight during pregnancy?

This is my second pregnancy and this pregnancy I have been losing weight. It’s the loss of appetite and I already lost 10 pounds without knowing it. Has anyone with ur pregnancy not gained any weight through ur whole pregnancy and actually lost weight their whole pregnancy? How was that for you?

Yes! My first I lost 40 pounds (almost). I was very sick and could not eat the entire time. This time I lost 10 the first week

Yes, this is common depending on your starting weight and your overall health. If you are worried, you should be talking to your doctor. This is my 7th pregnancy, and I have also lost 10lbs. I had some extra weight on me from previous pregnancies (currently 139 lbs) 18 weeks. My last pregnancy I lost 5 or so lbs in my first trimester. My last 3 pregnancies, I don’t start gaining any weight until about 20 weeks. Some of it just depends on how you feel and your body.

My first idk month or so I gained 20lbs and ended up losing all that and more now my ob wants to put me on Zofran but failed to mention all of the birth defects associated with that medication!! She only mentioned the possibility of cleft lip and other facial deformities. Oh girl. I was already 196lbs, down 100lbs in total in my weight loss journey, when I got pregnant so it’s not like I’m a tiny girl and/or malnourished, I was told by a nurse that me losing weight isn’t really an issue bc I have stored fat the baby could and would pull from if needed. I’ve been taking b6 4x a day and a unisom with my last b6 of the night and I’ve been able to eat and overall feel better

Im 15w 5 and have lost a few lbs still compared to pre pregnancy weight, however I am still eating nowhere near what I was! I had horrendous nausea until about 14 weeks and still get bad days now so my appetite has reduced a lot and I'm still very cautious what I eat. I'm not underweight and no one seems concerned 😀 I'm happy I have lost a little as I needed to anyway haha

Yes normal in the first trimester if your sick, it’s also normal if your overweight to begin with as your metabolism speeds up and if you lose your appetite that will contribute. I tend to lose weight first trimester and then gain it back and then some but Im a small build my sister ended pregnancy lighter then when she started.

Yep! Lost weight for this one. Nausea + low appetite + food adversions have done a number on me. Baby is doing alright though. If you're concerned speak with your OB about it, they should be keeping an eye on progress and growth as well.
