Is this car seat okay?

Hey y’all! I got this car seat and I noticed it doesn’t have padding?? Does this car seat seem okay?

A car seat should only be used with what comes with it. Check your manual for the size limits and whether there are supposed to be inserts. If there are none, it’s safe as is.

I got a car seat from my insurance that looks exactly like this. Not soft at all, feels very hard to the touch but I can’t afford an expensive one. Instead I’ll be buying a $20 cushion padding from Amazon. I know they say not to add anything but I will not put my baby in there without padding support for the head and back.

I personally wouldn’t use this seat.I know it depends on how old your baby is but head support is the most important thing you need to consider.We recently transitioned our wee girl into a bigger car seat but I wouldn’t feel comfortable without padding & head support

If it didn’t come with it I’m pretty sure you can just buy an Infant Insert for the car seat, maybe Amazon?

Check up the model and see what should be there. Also check the date on the seat, as they expire. It also needs to fit your car(infant car seats needs to be at 45* when installed) to be okay.

Apologies to the original poster-I have been criticized for my post regarding my baby car seat choice & informed that I am incorrect in my selection & specifications.It’s ironic considering when I purchased this car seat-I took it to our local authority agency(RSA) to ensure that my child was secure/safe & comfortable in her seat🤔I understand guidelines are different in different countries but I do not appreciate the feedback I have received.Of course I would not select a seat that is not approved for my child!As I stated on my previous post-I have attached the information relating to my car seat choice & I’m more than comfortable not receiving any more negativity regarding this!

I’m guessing this is used. Check the manual, if there are missing pieces, buy them through the car seat company. Don’t get them anywhere else.
