Painful cramping

I'm 17 weeks 2 days and for the past 3 days have been experiencing cramps similar to what my period cramps would've been like. I ended up in hospital last night because I had the cramps and a bit of light spotting. They didn't seem concerned about the cramps and just gave me paracetamol and the anti d injection.

Should I be worried about the cramps or is it just ligament pain? I went to Dr Google earlier and it said it could be braxton hicks but surely its too early?

First time mum and think I'm just worrying a bit.
