CVS results after 2 abnormal NIPTs & NT scan

It’s been the longest, depressing, emotionally drained four weeks of my life ever.

Long story short—

***AT 9 WEEKS: NIPT done & came back at low fetal fraction triggering the results to be “high-risk” for triploidy, trisomy 13 & 18

***AT 11 WEEKS: 2nd NIPT redone & came back as same results as the first

***AT 12+3 WEEKS: NT scan came back abnormal due to fluid behind baby’s neck measuring at 3.2-3.5mm which meant baby could possibly have down syndrome or turner’s syndrome. So we opted to do the CVS because we wanted to know the exact medical condition our baby may have so we could prepare ourselves physically, mentally, & emotionally

YESTERDAY at 14+4 weeks… Specialist called with good news of CVS results being NORMAL & that we are having a GIRL. I was so emotionally happy that I cried so hard at work 🙃🫠…
