Post partum waist trainer?

Does anyone recommend waist trainers or products like the picture below? What are the risk and benefits of it? I’m considering getting one but not sure.

I don’t know the benefits or risks but I do know that looks terrible uncomfortable.

I used one after my c-section and loved it. After surgery, my body felt unsupported, but with the binder I felt support and more comfortable. The binder also helped to keep my incision stitches from getting pulled or caught.

Yes they’re great for holding your belly tight and assisting your abdominal muscles back together!!! When I did physio for my diastasis recti they get you to push your abdominal muscles back together whilst doing your breathing exercises just to get a feel of what’s happening but also just to assist she recommended I wore a belly band also and it helped! It also just felt to secure! With my son who was my third child my diastasis recti was so bad I could feel my guys jiggling around while walking it was so uncomfortable and this just helped me feel tight and snatched and secure. Within maximum of 4 months my abdominal muscles were almost completely healed and I was back to normal

I got that exact waist band for postpartum and I LOVED it! I’ve been waist training for years but I got that until I could safely go back into my normal corset. I think even if you don’t have experience waist training you’ll love it, you don’t have to make it super tight and shouldn’t right away. But the second bottom band for the lower belly is so nice. I’d recommend for sure, even if you don’t like it’s pretty cheap. I loved mine though, I need to find it before I have this baby because I’m definitely using it again
