Is it weird that he’s willing to drive 2hr to hang out with me

I just met this guy on bumble a few months ago and he’s been trying to meet up for a min now and since I don’t drive it’s been kind of difficult. I found out recently that he lives 2 hrs away from me but he said he doesn’t mind coming down. Is it weird that he’s willing to drive 2hr to hang out with me tho we barley text and have a short convo once in a while? We are also going to see “Smiles” in the theater. I didn’t think anything of it until my sister and some friends told me it’s weird. I’m 21 and he’s 22- 23 I think
