So my son isn’t circumcised. Hes 7. My partner of 5 years is his step father. He is circumcised but he is a nurse and the peds doctor recommended my son pull his skin and start washing his penis. So I asked my partner if he could be the one to show him how to do it since he knows more about it and he’s a male and it’s probably more comfortable for my son to have a male figure showing then his own mom and my partner got just so weird over it. Said he would show him but if my son needs help like pulling it back being scared he doesn’t feel comfortable doing that and said I should be the one to physically show him if that was needed and it’s like I’m a little lost. Wouldn’t it be more helpful for a male to do that then the mom? Like my daughter when she starts a period would it be more suitable for the mom to help her with that or the dad? The mom obviously idk what’s your opinions? Maybe im thinking of it wrong?
