Husband didn’t buy gifts for birthday but took me for a meal, would you be annoyed

Right, we have been together for 11 years, married 5 and he always used to buy me gifts and take me away or do something nice for my birthday. This year and last year he got me no gifts but took me for a meal. (I paid for it this time as his phone died but said he will put it back in my bank but hasn’t yet).

I am not being ungrateful, I appreciate he will pay for it it’s just feels like since getting married there’s not much effort anymore. We have a 16 month old and I’m pregnant again. He’s got a very well paid job compared to other years so just feels like he can’t be bothered anymore.

We be have a joint account for our bills etc that we both put certain amounts in but then have our own bank accounts to spend on what we want.

Am I wrong for being a bit upset?
