HIP (Healthy Indiana plan) insurance

Does anyone know if HIP insurance covers salingectomy? The removal of the tubes as form of contraception? My dr asked me if I’d like to do that since I’m having a c section and will already be opened. We were planning on me or my boyfriend to get fixed since this will be our 2nd and last together making 4 kids total. He has 2 daughters from previous. We’ve been together 5 years. And know for sure this is what we want to do. Just don’t know if my insurance will cover it or if him getting snipped will be cheaper. I know without insurance me getting tubes out will definitely be more expensive.
