My sweet micropreemie 🥰

He was born at 27w5d gestation.

He’s now 4 days old and 28w2d gestation.

He’s doing really well so far! I might get to hold him for the first time in a couple days! 🥹

He has quite a few tubes today because he had a quick surgery last night to place a drain to fix a perforation in his intestines.

I figured some would find it interesting to see what their babe kind of looks like in their belly at this gestation! He is on the larger side for this gestation!

He wears pampers size p2 micropreemie diapers! They are so tiny!

Congratulations Mama 💙 I had a preemie daughter at 26+2, 7 years ago, she spent 92 days in NICU and came home 4 days before her official due date... It's definitely a tough journey but these little warriors are strong and fight hard to graduate from the NICU !! Best wishes, he's precious 🙏😍

My boy was born at 29 weeks, and he is 9 months old now. He wears 6 month size clothing, but is growing so much every day. Hang in there!!

Congrats! I had a 31 weeker almost 9 years ago. He came home after exactly 5 weeks, when I would’ve been 36 weeks. He is a healthy smart funny little boy and I’m so amazed every time I look at his preemie photos and compare them to what he’s grown to be. I hope your babe has a short nicu stay!
