What happened to the pitbull post?

Question

This may be against a rule asking this- 
But someone posted last night about the family who was attacked by their dogs and lost their two kids. 
I went back this morning to answer any replies and the post was removed. Did someone break a rule? Was it the person who posted it that took it down? At the time it didn’t seem like there was any reason for it to be removed. 
The poll was at 50/50 which I feel like is a great topic to discuss 🤷‍♀️ 
This isn’t meant to bring the debate up again, especially if there was a reason why it was removed. I just noticed a lot of posts get removed off this group daily which is disheartening.

This group over the past year has just vanished. Zero interesting topics, and anything with a spark gets removed.

I’ll probably get in trouble for saying this, but I genuinely believe they’re trying to quietly shut down CC. It’s got to be a lot to moderate, and the app has changed a lot since it was started. 
They left my stupid hot chip post up, but removed the previous four posts in a row I put up. One was about what topics people would like to see in CC. That got moved to the Chit Chat group. I know there’s some people that just don’t like me, and report all my shit for no reason. That’s fine, but it’s not just my posts it’s happening to. The very interesting post about cannabis forgiveness got moved to Politics. It mentioned Biden, but it wasn’t really about him. Plus when this group was started politics were a major part of discussion. I don’t understand at all why they seem to be banned now. 
Look at the four posts below this. None of them are debate, and they’ve all been there for some time. I don’t even blame people for thinking this is an appropriate place to post random nonsense anymore. 
The Chit Chat post in here is another example. It used to get hundreds or even thousands of comments, now if it gets 50 it’s a big week. Most people who cared about the group have checked out. The whole thing makes me really sad.

I joined this app a little over a year ago and this group has become significantly less trafficked and interesting. Engaging topics are always moved or deleted and people get so mad when you try to debate with them (isn’t that the point of this group?) Just the other day I responded to a comment and the person popped off at me and asked me why I was trying to debate with her lol.

I have been on this app for a couple years (made a new acct) and I have noticed that CC used to be super engaging and I would check it almost everyday but now I don’t see the point checking or posting because the posts always get removed. It’s so annoying. But I doubt the admin will do anything about  .

I didn’t get to see it, but probably was a lot of down voting going on 🤷🏽‍♀️ and it doesn’t seem like they really want to moderate this forum so they just remove things that aren’t light hearted. I think they don’t want to deal with this forum tbh. Everyone has been complaining about this for a few years now, but it’s definitely the worst it’s ever been. I think the forum is only still standing for the sake of the chit chat thread lol.

I commented when it was relatively new still but I’m assuming it had a lot more activity overnight. If I had to guess I’d say people were being nasty to each other under the comments. 
I don’t understand why that got removed but there are so many posts here lately that aren’t controversial in the slightest yet they stay up/don’t get moved to a different page for a loooong time.

I think when all of the old mods left (who actually interacted with the community), they hired a bunch of new employees to focus more on the money grabbing gimmicks that popped up everywhere. CC definitely doesn’t make sense or follow the rules of the group anymore.

If everyone would be nice it wouldn't be an issue but some people can't help but start name calling because they don't agree with their opinion.
