Is it true that cold symptoms can be an early sign of pregnancy?

I have read on a few blogs, websites etc that a sore throat and cold symptoms can be a sign of pregnancy. Just wondered if anyone has had any experience of this

I have cold symptoms every time I find out I'm pregnant. This time it was just days after I found out but my previous 2 pregnancies i was already "sick" when I found out.

Before I found out I was pregnant, I was taking NyQuil (for about 3 nights) bc I had a cold! I heard later that yes, sometimes you feel like a cold is coming on :)

Okay this scared me a little, the last 2 weeks I've been having symptoms and yesterday my throat started hurting and my nose has been not runny but like easily mucusy and today I've sneezed a lot...
