Does your toddler still use a pacifier?

Just curious on when to start taking the pacifier away. Currently only using it for naps and bedtime but when is it appropriate? Is it bad for them to use it until 2.5-3 years old?

My son got Hand Foot and Mouth when he was 12 months old and it hurt too much for him to suck it so I just took them all away and he never thought about it again! I worked at a daycare for years and it’s a hit or miss the longer u wait. Some kids get teeth problems some don’t. From what I saw the longer you wait, the harder it is for them to give it up. Every kid is different! I was lucky with mine and I hope eventually it’ll be easy for my June 22 baby to do it too

We were down to just nights but he's been nonstop sick since early August because one brother just started pre-k and the other kindergarten. His dentist said to take it away by 3.
