WHAT DOES HE WANT

This boy I was serious with wants to keep me around, and told me he felt i was his and wants to marry me and things like that. We slept together every night, spent all day together for almost 3 months... I ended things with him because he wasn't giving me the attention I need and he still isn't! He barely texts me but asks to hang out, but never asks how my day is or what im doing, or anything. Hes not affectionate, but always wants sex. He doesn't want me to be with other people, (he doesnt want to be with other people either) but won't date me. He told me he wants his love for me "to come", with time. I know we have a connection, but the doubt is growing and the hope is depleating. He told me he has feelings for me. but he doesn't know what they are and wants me to wait for him... is he just playing with my feelings?
